How PawsField checks listings

PawsField helps you find a private dog field and check the practical details before you book. Our labels explain what evidence we have, where it came from and what still needs checking with the operator.
What “verified bookable” means
We have reviewed dated information published by the operator that supports all three of these points:
- The space can be hired for private, exclusive or sole use.
- There is a usable booking or booking-enquiry route.
- The operator describes the enclosure or fencing.
Verified profiles show the date of that check and a link to the operator source. We have not inspected the site. This label does not guarantee available slots, a particular fence standard or suitability for your dog.
An owner claim is a separate check
“Claimed by owner” means an operator has supplied details for the listing. Their prices, fence heights, gates, parking, water provision, livestock information and reactive-dog policy are labelled as owner supplied. A claim alone does not make a field verified bookable.
Missing information stays unknown. For example, a missing water answer does not mean there is no water, and a height measurement does not establish that every gate and boundary is equally high.
Parks and records awaiting checks
Public parks, nature sites and ambiguous dog-park records are grouped separately from verified private-hire fields. Some genuine hire fields are still awaiting our checks. A pending label describes our evidence, not a judgement about the operator.
County and town pages with only a few checked choices stay available to browse while we build their coverage.
Before you book
- Check the total price, session length, permitted dogs and cancellation terms.
- Ask about the lowest fence or gate, gaps, double gates and the route from parking.
- Confirm exclusive use, neighbouring dogs, livestock and any arrival or departure buffer.
- Check the entrance directions, water, ground conditions and any access restrictions.
Your booking and payment take place with the operator. A “Book Now” link goes to a booking route we have reviewed; other buttons identify an operator website, contact page or social contact route. Availability and terms can change after our check.
How listings and links are presented
Verified bookability, owner-supplied information and location help visitors compare choices. We do not use third-party review scores to rank directory records, or publish these scores or review markup.
Optional kit recommendations contain affiliate links where labelled. They are separate from the operator's listing and do not affect its verification status. A “Listed on PawsField” badge confirms only that a record exists.
Correct a detail or request removal
Use “Correct or remove this listing” on the relevant profile, or send a correction or removal request. Include the listing name or URL and the detail you want changed. We review the request and may ask for evidence or confirmation that you are authorised to act.
